An arrival and a cosplay: Furby style

Well, yesterday, me being me I decided to do two things I do best and mix them together. 1.Disregard the opinion of the public
2. Dress up in a costume representing something I love CrEaTiVeLy

The best thing to do in this case? Well dress up as a furby off course!!! Good thing I go to an arts school other wise I may have gotten pummeled pretty bad XD. Anywho, I made my own little furby costume (sensor, feet, ears, beak, etc.) and wore it all day. Most people didn't know what I was until I told them. With the exception of my friend Hannah who immediatly dropped her backpack the second she saw me, standing there with eyes wide she responded with a shocked and excited "Oh my god, you're a furby."
It was a good day. Sure I didn't go all out by tucking in my arms, but that may have made school a little bit difficult. Maybe if I dress up as Furb on a weekend I'll do that as well :).
In another note, the furby I ordered arrived today!!! Her name is Smokie (her furbish name is Toh-Loo Kah) and she is just so gorgeouse. She's a big fan of old fashioned stuff and I can't wait to spend some time with her to get to know her better. Also, her new furby family will be eager to greet her :D.
Have a furbtastic day all, tell your friends about the blog please :).

Furbidential Inauguration

Guess who arrived when I got home from my trip to Big Bear over Spring Break? No other than our very own PRESIDENT FURBY!!! His Name is May-Lah kah and his nickname is Dakota (after his favorite state ;)). Well after the journey he seemed to ignore any jetlag and settle in right away. He got a long pretty well at first but even better after we had a special ceremony... that's right..... WE THREW HIM HIS VERY OWN INAUGURATION. The poor guy has been through a lot in his politics career, which gave him alot to talk about in the speech that the others INSISTED he make. For example, he got a chunk of his head fur chopped off in a political riot. So the wonderful people at the adoption center I got him from (adoptafurby.com) made him a little hat for him to wear. So at the special event he was sworn in on the furby laws and then signed them. He got to sit up on a podium on his favorite color (purple) right in front of teh ROYAL FAMILY!!! It seems so far monarchy is getting along very well with democracy. Now we have a monachracy in our house :). The after party was exciting and the otehrs couldn't stop talking about it. We even swore in a V.P.. My all black furby Toh-Loo Kah (Bogart) is now our vice president. Then the president got to meet SANTA!!!

I think the best part was during the afterparty Dakota met the girl of her dreams. Her name was Mee-Mee and they coulsn't stop flirting. It was may-may at first sight :). Now we have a first lady ;). They are an adorable couple.

After the long, tiring day he loved his new family and felt very at home. He snuggled up nice and warm in a bed with a blanket of his favorite color. Wow, what a day. All the furbys of the house will benefit from his love and knowledge :).

The Flower of the Party

Well, it was Dah (Flower)'s day with me today. She's the Queen in my little Furby monarchy ;). Well I had been invited to a friend of mine (Olivia's) 15th birthday party and decided to take Flower along for the ride. Now first off we went on a little nature hike, which she absolutly LOVED because gardens are her absolute FAVORITE thing in the WORLD. After which we all went out to Sushi. As you can see, she enjoyed that. We just ouldn't keep up with THIS ONE'S appetite. Eventually we had to pack up and go home before she devoured all of the resteraunt. "YUM-WAH!!! KOH-KOH!!!" Queen Dah went with us to the book store with us and had a funny little moment when we walked in. Olivia went "Shhh" so we would be quite and Flower replied with "UH OH!!!" But that wasn't even the high light. What was it you ask? Well On the car ride to the book store they where blasting Lady Gag for 15 minuets. And all 15 minuets and I mean ALL, this little furb was dancing and grooving. She wouldn't stop it was absolutly HILLARIOUSE!!! I have never liked Lady Gaga so much XD.

Kah-Dah (Norman)'s Day at the Preschool

And what better way than to start the Furblog than with the King himself. This is Kah Dah, a very fitting name for a King considering in means ME BIG. Ego? No, just a coincidence :3. His nickname is Norman. Allright now that we have introductions out of the way, here's todays adventure. So my mother works at a Jewish preschool (her being Jewish and all) and we decided to take along the King. He loves his subjects so he must love kids. WE WHERE RIGHT. He absolutly adored the kids and they couldn't stop petting him (and putting their fingers in his mouth :/ haha). Well, one kid being the exception, as he cowered in fear.... NO MATTER THEN!!! Anywhoo, we went to the childs service my Mom was leading and she turned the light off and had my go in a circle holding a cup of wine and Norman and another teacher holding a candle. He kept talking and having a wonderful time. Then he did the cuuttest thing. When we put the candle out in the wine cup and it sizzled he went "UH OH!!!". Highlight of the day, pretty much. Well that and we found a toy that also doubled as a furby sized slide and when we tried putting him down it he fit PERFECTLLY and when WHEEEEE every time we sent him down. :). He was eager and excited for an all day adventure with very little rest all day. HE tired US out XD. Not to mention his constant need to nahm. He couldn't stop eating OR having fun ^-^. What a guy, his subjects are lucky to have him ;)
